Our Story

Let’s start at the beginning. Mike Sorboro began his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 when he started ECT Pedicab in the Short North district of Columbus. Bored with the typical late night gyros and other street meats available after hours, Mikey launched the pizza concept “Late Night Slice” in the parking lot attached to his apartment in 2009. This would become the first of several locations and two food trucks that provide “Columbus’ Original Street pizza” to the region. Late Night Slice mainly serves up New York-style pizza by the slice, along with a few other items ranging from the “of course they’ll have that in a pizza shop” to the very unexpected items like: the “Pizza Dawg,” a butterflied and pepperoni-stuffed hot dog that used a slice of pizza as the bun, and the “Cheezus Crust,” a grilled cheese sandwich using pizza as the bread. You’ll also find salads, breadsticks, cheese bread and a selection of “on brand” sweets that round out one of Ohio’s most sought-after and talked-about menus.
